As a school, we wanted to help promote road safety and stress the importance of paying attention when crossing roads to our students.

Therefore our task was to do this by advertising road safety week throughout the school to all students. This was done by using the road safety tutor time PowerPoint sent to us by our TFL coordinator.

The PowerPoint was shared amongst form tutors and the session was delivered on the same day across the school to all students.

Within this session, we also promoted the London Transport Museum poster competition and gave students time within the session to start their pledges for improved road safety. This session allowed for discussion on how to best ensure our own road safety and to make sure students understand the severity of not taking road safety seriously.
