As part of our promotion of Active Travel, we wanted to show our students and their families different ways to make their routes more active and safer.To do this we had a session with Sustrans and our TFL co-ordinator on how we could produce a map, which would include ‘park and stride’, and ‘drop a stop’ points. We also took our students for a walk around the school in order to highlight any potential hazards on popular routes.We have since produced a version of our own map and have advertised this to the rest our of our school community. We know that some students have already began to meet each other at the park and stride stops. We are hoping the final version of the map developed by Ealing Council will be ready for use by the next academic year
