As a school, we wanted to help promote road safety and stress the importance of paying attention when crossing roads to our students.Therefore our task was to do this by advertising road safety week throughout the school to all students. This was done by running a road safety tutor time session where students discussed topics such as stopping distances and disttractions. This session allowed for discussion on how to best ensure our own road safety and to make sure students understand the severity of not taking road safety seriously.  We hope that a higher awareness of road safety will help to increase the number of students travelling actively.
