To mark WED this year, we held an assembly where we talked about stewardship. We wanted our students to see that everyone has a responsibility for the environment even if sometimes they may feel out of touch with nature due to living in a city. This assembly also fell nicely within our Eco Active month and therefore the issue was right at the front of students’ minds. We believe that the message of this assembly will have empowered students to contribute to discussions around clean air day and encouraged participation in our weekend walking competition
