At the end of our last academic year, we conducted a student survey in order to evaluate the success of the travel activities we carried out this year. We were pleased to see that the majority of respondents said that they will now begin to travel to school more actively and that tutor time sessions have helped them to realise the importance of road safety.  We also gained an insight into what our students would like to see this year. The common theme was to build a bigger presence of TFL around the school for example; “more posters around school giving tips on how to be more eco-friendly.” Therefore, this year we hope to have a real drive on regular notices and updates in our school assemblies and magazine, so that students always have the importance of active travel at the front of their minds.
