Over 200 children came to school using sustainable travel on 20th June.  just over 90 of these children requested the free breakfast.  However all of the children took part in the outdoor games which were laid on for them. The staff  were right behind the children and some of them even left their cars at home and walked to school themselves.  The children were surprised at how different they felt for having walked to school that morning and a lot of them said that they would be walking more often.  A few children complained that they were not allowed to walk to school every day because their parent or carer dropped them off on their way to work and didn't want them walking by themselves.

It was very worthwhile and all involved can't wait for next year.
