Regualr trips are taken by the staff and the pupils at Capella Secondary to local areas including green spaces.

Specifically the pupil regularly use the Craneford Way Playing Fields which are close to the secondary school.

Pupils are also encourage to walk to the local highstreet as part of independent living.

"Our Enrichment programme at the end of each day includes a range of activities. A popular one is to go for a walk along the river and nearby parks and footpaths. The last one had 60% of the students on it."
