The JTAs planned a week of awareness which they named 'Air Quality Awareness Week'. The JTAs started the week by delivering an assembly to the whole school to build on awareness of clean air.

They also promoted 2 competitions which they ran during the week. One competition was for the children to create a poster to raise awareness of 'car idling'. The second competition involved the teachers keeping a tally chart of which children travelled to school each day that week in a way that helped keep the air clean, and a winner was chosen from each class of someone who travelled the most sustainably that week.
