The whole school took part in Walk to School Week. 

The week started with a whole school assembly run by the Junior Travel Ambassadors, and included a poem by year 1 about walking.

The whole school took part in different Walk to School Week activities during the week.

Some examples of these activities were Reception and Year 1 took part in Road Safety workshops led by the Junior Travel Ambassadors to remind them of how to be safe crossing roads. Year 6 made Walk to School Week themed board games which they played with Year 4 children. Year 5 made Walk to School Week themed Top Trump cards. 

We also had a whole school competition where the children were given vouchers for active travel and these were put in a raffel box.
