Every November we celebrate raod safety week, we set up a road in our garden and the children enjoy pretend play of learning safe ways to cross the road. Some children are pedestrians, some are road users and some are cyclist.  We also take a trip the crossing outside the nursery. The children learn about pushing the button and watching out for the green man means it's safe to cross.
