A group of pupils have been walking to school together on what is called a 'walking bus' run by one of their parents. For a week in September one parent walked with their own child to school and picked up 4 others on the route. They planned a walking route which was only slightly off the quickest route for that parent anyway and meant that 5 children could walk together to school. They will organise themselves to continue to do a walking bus once a week for the rest of the academic year.
