Special provision children were taken to the local Pizza Express on a school trip. Transportation to the Pizza Express included taking a local bus. Children had to consider how to safely get on and off the bus. Children had to also consider how to navigate busy roads and safely cross.

The trip was a brilliant opportunity to learn a lot about cooking and good, fresh food. The children learnt the cooking basics, such as hygiene and safety in the kitchen, and then learnt how to make a famous, Italian classic: the Margherita.
