Where walking is not feasible and where possible is committed to using public transport to travel to school trip locations across the academic year, this allows us to start the conversation with our pupils on how to use public transport, appropriate behaviour on public transport, independent travel and the benefits of using the public transport network. An example of this is when we travelled to Westminster on the tube to visit the Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church.
