Year 3 and 4 were given the oppurtunity to take part in level 1 Bikeability training whilst the year 5 children were given the opurtunity to attempt the level 1 and 2 course. (only year 5 due to SATs being so close.

The first week was year 5 and after a slow start in terms of numbers the second day increased to 13 children. (one ended up being sick). Only 2 of the children were competent initially and 4 or 5 had not riden before and lacked confidence. out of this group only two did not pass level 2 and that was down to the weather making it dangerous to ride. Each rider recieved a certificate in our collective worship.

The second group (years 3/4) had 23 cyclist, and although the instructors were confident in the vast majority of the riders did not issue them with certificates.
