Ashburnham has a Physical Activity Policy as well as a PE policy which is published our website for parents to read. We also release frequent newsletters that contain lots of travel information and events, such as the Fundraising Cycle Ride in our April Newsletter (see evidence). Our policy states:

The school strives to reduce car travel and to increase active travel.

It is school policy that school trips and visits use public transport, unless this proves to be unfeasible.

Also informs parents about our promotion of active physical travel and our support through skill training.
