The school business manager had receievd complaints from the local residents regarding parents/carers parking on their driveway, so she contacted the Safer Transport Team who immediately sent round a community support officer who discussed with the business manager what activities could be implemented. Community Support Officer agree  to attend the school once per week with her colleague at least once per week to encourage parents/carers to not idle or park in residents drivewasy as this is part of road and pedestrian safety.

This has assisted in reducing the amount of cars outside the school premises on a daily basis.
