A group of volunteers from CBRE, the UK real estate service division, came to build a quiet area to encourage children who may find it challenging to play in the main playground and who require a quieter space to benefit from playing in a quiet outdoor space. Sensory areas are being installed using planting with scents and different textures. The hope is that children who normally stay indoors during playtime will be encouraged to come outside and start enjoy the benefits of outdoor play and exercise.
