Public transport for school trips
Cromer Road Primary School
London Borough of Barnet
Our story
This year in order to lower the cost and promote sustainable travel all classes have been asked to consider using public transport when going on a school trip. As a result every year group bar 1 have used either a bus, the London underground or the Overground to reach their trip destination. For example year 1 used the underground to get to the London Aquarium and Reception have used the Overground to go to the Natural History Museum and the Natural Portrait Gallery. Although slightly nerveracking at first both these year groups loved going on the train and this resulted in a great experience in itself.
