The school was invited to aprticipate in a Netball Tournament at Ridgeway School (South Croydon). The JTAs helped the PE coordinator to plan a route involving walking, awareness of road safety and using public transport to get to and from Ridgeway. Tickets for the train were obtained using the school's membership of TfL's School Party Travel Scheme and the train taken to/from Reedham Station to Purley Oaks Station. The group wore high vis jackets and planned the route using local knowledge to cross roads safely using zebra crossings where . Thanks to this careful planning the group arrived in good time, enjoyed the Netball Tournament and arrived back to school before the end of school day.
