Year 1 carried out a Field trip to Northala Fields organised by our school's Geography Lead teacher..  The children travelled by public transport (bus).  Parents were notified 6 weeks in advance of the trip and Transport for London issued travel tickets for the children in groups of 10 and 2 adults. Before the trip the children had lessons on road safety and safe travel when using public transport.  On the day they wore hi vis vests with the school logo. The trip was a great success and will be a regular part of Year 1 curriculum.
