Hands up surveys in 2022 and 2021 showed a pattern of Year 6 pupils choosing cycling as their preferred option to travel to school.  The borough Stars team offered bikeability training which we snapped up.  A letter was sent to Year 6 parents informing them of the opportunity and it was made clear the places were offered on  a first come basis.  The STP liased with the Bikeability team to ensure risk assessments were in place and all participants had parental permission.  THe course was a great success with the pupils 22 out of 24 passed.  £ of the pupils began to cycle to school as they and their parents were confident.  We really hope to repeat next year.
