Headteacher raised the issue of parents' dangerous parking that local residents had emailed her about in staff briefing on Friday13th January.  She then led a School Travel  assembly on Monday 19th January for pupils years 1-5.  The assembly was also used to launch a safer parking Poster competition. Parents were informed about the issue and competition in a letter from the Headteacher. There were many entries and prizes were given to pupils in KS1 and KS2 for 1st/2nd/3rd place in the whole school assembly on Monday 13th February.  The posters d3 demonstrated pupuls had  a clear understanding of why safe parking is important..  Parents were informed about the results in the February newsletter.  The winning posters were laminated and displayed in the local area.  It is clear in July 2023 that dangerous parking is much less of an issue around our school.
