The Travel Team were very concerned about the amount of parents who were parking on the zig zag lines outside of the school during pick up and drop off times. They also noticed cars being parked on the double yellow lines and across residents' driveways. When the Junior Traffic Wardens approached the drivers many of them seemed to be unaware of the rules surrounding the zig zag lines etc. We decided to create a page on our website to keep the parents/carers informed of these rules. The JTAs took pictures of the road signs and created some information pieces to help the drivers' understanding of when and where they can park. Now if any of the drivers are still unsure we can point them in the direction of the website which has proved to be very useful.
