We received an invitation to attend the JTA Fun day to be held in Ealing Town Hall. We replied saying that we would like to attend. We created a letter for the parents of the JTAs to give them details of the day and for them to give their permission. We then worked out a travel route and the JTAs were very excited to be travelling by train. Unfortunately on the day the trains were not running so we quickly had to plan another route. We went by bus which was very uncomfortable as it was so busy due to the train disruptions. On the return journey the JTAs decided they wanted to take a slower bus that was less busy. It was a good insight for them on the perils of travel and they coped very well. They enjoyed all the activities and from the day they took back a lot of ideas. Since then they have given many assemblies, created a travel board, set up a reflecter shop and have created lots of travel competitions.
