Our school took part in the Big Walk and Wheel, to raise awareness and promote active travel we ran an art competition.

Students from all year groups were encouraged to participate and submit posters to the competition via the student bulletin. We also used some time in KS3 Geography lessons to start off some entries in order to maximise participation.

Over 50 entries were submitted and the  STARS challenge team picked a winner which was announced during assembly.

We have successfully promted active travel in the school and have raised awareness due to the number of entries submitted. We have built momentum which we intend to keep going through participating in the STARS challenge
