Brentside High School had a large amount of students travelling by car in order to get to school. This causes congestion problems around the schol area. In order to reduce congestion we delievered assemblies and ran competitions to help promote active travel within the school community. As a result of competitions such as step count week and bike week run in eco active month, more children were encouraged to walk and cycle to school therefore helping to reduce congestion and promote active travel. Results so far indicate a shift to more active modes.
