Brentisde High School wants to create a more environmentally friendly community. As a school we want to raise awareness that certain modes of transport can have on the environment therefore reducing cars on the road and encouraging students to take more active modes of transport. To promote this our TFL STARS ambassadors led on Bike Week. This week was used to promote cycling and scooting to school. Students who used either modes of transport to get into school were given a free breakfast item. In addition to this they were entered into the golden lock competition where they had the opportunity to win prizes. Bike week has a positive effect on students and the environment, more students were seen both cycling and scooting to school in order to enter the competition.
