Working in partnership with local police
Belvue School
London Borough of Ealing
Our story
The local police came to school to have a chat with our lower ability students. The students were able to ask questions and were made aware of who is a safe stranger as this is a priority for our school. Active travel and road safety were discussed and the officers demonstrated how not to use our mobile phones while walking as there is a risk of theft or injuring ourselves or others. Since the visit a larger percentage of the students keep their mobile phone safely in their schoolbag to avoid causing accidents or having their phone stolen.
