I am a Higher Level Teaching Assistant  from Belvue School who attended a Travel for Life training course to support myself in becoming a School Travel Champion.The training course involved a number of schools coming together, to get an understanding of the activities and stories that can be used to help support our school in getting accredited and maintaining this throughout the year. Helen and Nicky helped us generate ideas for activities and stories, which in the long run has helped me focus my attention on improving road safety and beginning our journey to a healthy, happier school community.I am now a more confident in my new role as a School Travel Champion after attending this course. I look forward to the challenges ahead, and getting our school more aware around road safety and become more sustainable in the future.
