Working in partnership with local police
Capel Manor Primary School
London Borough of Enfield
Our story
On Wednesday 13th December both of our Y6 classes had Met Police talk from officers about different issues that affect the wider community we live in. They spoke to the children about gangs, knife crime and grooming and built on their learning in PSHE relating to drugs and alcohol. They learned about ways to keep themselves safe, advice on making decisions relating to their safety and wellbeing and where to go for help. The children had the chance to ask questions in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
