Public transport for school trips
Bush Hill Park Primary School
London Borough of Enfield
Our story
In summer term, all classes travelled to Stoke Newington to the mosque by public transport. Year 5 also travelled to the Science museum and Year 4 to the British Museum. Expectations were set, pupils advised re safety etc. Hi vis vests were worn and pupils walked to the train station. For some of the pupils this was the first time they travelled by train or tube, so this hit some of our British Values targets too.
