Rainham Marshes Trip
Scotts Primary School
London Borough of Havering
Our story
This week, year 4 visited RSPB Rainham Marshes. We completed a water vole survey at two different spots on the River Mardyke and compared the movement of the river, the types of plants, the water visibility and noted any litter. We reviewed our learning about the different features of a river and discussed micro plastics and how we might reduce the amount of plastics that we use. We were also challenged to put a map of the river Thames into the correct order!
