Our Year 5 class visited a local business to understand how manufacturing occurs in the workplace.

As part of our 'Work Week' activities this exciting educational visit was supported through TfL travel on The Docklands Light Railway.

Children obtained a great insight into the working of a local factory and the technical machines they made in support of the food industry.

For many of our children this was a first visit via the DLR and the use of escalators. A valuable occasion for their personal development in understanding their local environment more.
