Our story

Annually we select a member of staff to help set up and establish the JTA at our school. Currently one of the teachers has arranged for the borough officer to bring in badges and resources for our first booked assemblies with the senior safety officer. The children participate well and are always keen to apply to be a JTA. We have selected members and have set an agenda of activates we intend to participate in and how to spread awareness of the important role of JTA. We enjoy writing letters and we have written letters to our local councillors, governors in our school, the road safety officer. We have created posters, slides and presentations to spread awareness and promote our causes. We have had meetings to discuss our agenda and things we want to do and achieve. It is great being a JTA and I hope we are successful in our goals and activities.
