Parents are encouraged to care about the well being of the staff and pupils at Maryland Primary School. Some parents have written to their local council to try to intitate change to help the children. One parent got a respondance and was kind enough to share the correspondance she received. There was a campaign to encourage parents and carers to write to the council about a school accessibility scheme. The parents are Maryland are very supportive. We have a group called Maryland United that meet regularly and they raise funds and cooperate with the JTA to how promote causes and events that will help to keep children safe, fit and healthy.
