During our year 6 transition day, we organised  a great TFL visitor that helped to provide a wonderfully informative experience that not only helped the children with journey planning but also emphasised the importance of active travel and utilising different modes of transportation, all while teaching them how to seek assistance when needed.

The day began with engaging discussions on the various modes of transport available to them, including walking, cycling, public transportation, and carpooling. We emphasized the benefits of active travel for both personal health and the environment. The children eagerly participated in interactive activities, learning how to plan their journeys efficiently and make informed decisions regarding transportation.
