Promote responsible behaviour on public transport
Hampton Junior School
London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
Our story
Our year 3 children took a trip to Richmond Synagogue. Prior to the event the children had a lesson on safer walking and expected responsible behaviour on the train, paying particular attention to walking along busy public roads and standing safely on the train platforms. They journeyed on public transport. They took the train from Hampton Station to Richmond Station. They demonstrated responsible behaviour on the train, together with impeccable behaviour in public. They were very aware that they were a big group and they all payed good attention to being respectful to other members of the public.
