The JTAs of Richmond Borough got together for a meeting at Hampton Prep school. Firstly, we had to learn about what a JTA was - a Junior Travel Ambassador.  Then we were split into groups.  Our group talked about safety on cycles and on the road.  Our second activity was Park and Stride, where we calculated how many calories we burned in 274 metres (the distance between the car park at the school), which was 88 calories.  Later, we got into teams and made a track for a scooter.  After lunch, there was an Anti-Idling Poster Competition.  We had to make a poster that told people about idling and how they had to stop it.  Ariyana won the poster competition for the Blue Group!  At the end of the meeting, the JTAs from Hampton Prep school gave an amazing assembly.  All in all, we really enjoyed the meeting.
