Our SLT and parent/carers set up a group of adults and children to go around the local area collecting litter, we called it plogging. The parents explained to the children about recycling and keeping your local area tidy. This is a weekly club that meets before school.

From our newsletter - Well done and thank you to the children in our Wednesday morning Plogging Club. They have been going jogging before school to pick up litter from the streets around the school. The rubbish is then sorted and re-cycled as much as possible. Thanks to Miss Nugent and Miss Dixon ( mum of Oliver 5D) for running the club.
