As part of the School's 'Messy Play Week' celebrations, the EY department are integrating in Empty Classroom Day. Throughout the week the EY children will be spending the majority (at least two sessions) of the main Early Years day (from 9a.m. to 3p.m.) outdoors, exploring the natural environment. As part of this the children will be spending very little time in the classroom. The children will be using all their senses in the process of exploration, especially the sense of touch offering children plenty of opportunity to mould and manipulate materials.
