One of our current Year 1 boys parent works for TFL and kindly agreed to come into the the school to deliever a talk to the Lower School boys about the importance of having a young travel card. She demonstrated what it looks like, how to get one and why we need to have one. She modelled the application online and explained how you can obtain an application from the post office or local station. The younger children and parents were not all aware that they needed a pass to use public transport before this visit so they were very appreaciteve and now have a greater awareness of public travel and requirements.
