During the last couple of weeks of the summer term, the Year 1 and 2 boys took lots of their lessons outside to enjoy the outdoor weather and enhance outdoor learning. The children love being outside and being active, they have a different sense of concentration and enthusiasm when the learning is taken elsewhere. They explored the different plants in our school garden linking to their science topic of plants, they created some art work using sketches and ink paint and then they wrote a poem about nature and the outdoors.
