Raising money for the Ukraine Appeal - Fundraising Fortnight (10th-24th June 2022).

The aim is to try and get to Kyiv by recording miles that each child is able to complete during the fortnight. In order to get there each child in the school needs to complete 6 miles each. For example, this could have been in the form of walking, cycling, running etc. Children were encouraged to raise as much money as they like by asking people to sponsor them per kilometre/mile that they complete. The children were given sponsorship forms but the money will be contributed from the class kitty. Extra money can be contributed if raised by the children. There were other events during the week where the children could also clock up miles. With a huge school effort, we ended up raising £10,220 for the DEC Ukraine Appeal.
