On Thursday 1st December 2022, 30 of our most vunerable children went on the Independent Travel Bus which is organised by our Road Safety Team in Greenwich. The children met with TFL staff, the bus driver and bus inspectors & police officers and our Greenwich Road Safety team. The children witnessed scenerios tha could happen whilst travelling. Learnt the importance of good behaviour on public transport  and the responsilities of having an Oyster card to travel on public transport. The children travelled to Thamesmead where the departed the bus and practised some road skills. They also had some Stranger Danger Awareness.
