As our STARS accrediation is expiring, Alec Reed Academy were invited to the workshop which was organised by the Travel STARS team. This workshop aimed to provide support and guidance to schools with expiring accreditation. Currently, we were finding that we are a bit of a standstill when it comes to ideas and activities we can do to promote active travel however we were shown how to work smarter to make our events and campaigns really count. We went into small break out rooms, these were really useful as we could ask questions. As a result of attending this workshop, I have lots of ideas of how we can better promote active travel at our school and how this can be done before our accredidation runs out.
