To encourage the parents to take their children out in the half term holidays, we included a list of dates for free cycling training in our school newsletter and on the school's Facebook page. All teachers were asked to encourage their children to take part in one of these activities in the holidays in the hope that the children would remind their parents to take them. The list was also given to a parent who runs a mym's guide to Romford website which details fun and free activities in the local area which encourages parents to take their children out.
