At the end of each half term each curriculum leader meets with a member of the senior leadership team to discuss their subject and their subject priorities. I met with the former STP champion Dan Taylor to discuss what activities I have done for travel plans this academic year so far. We looked at previous initiatives that were successful such as Dr Bike and cycle training and Dan gave me some tips and advice on how to make these activities successful. We also added some more activities into the travel plan agenda for the remaining academic year so we are aware of what needs to be done. The audit is shared with other members of SLT so they are aware of how subjects are being ran throughot the school. I found completing the audit very useful as it gave me the opportunity to share ideas and to get some help in planning new inititatives.
