Public transport for school trips - Westminster

Crowlands Primary School

Our story

As a Year 3 team, we took the three classes in Year 3 on trips to Westminster on Seperate days. The first class went on Friday 8th of July, the second class went on Monday the 11th of July and the last class went on Tuesday the 12th of July. The purpose of the trip was to visit some important London landmarks such as Big Ben, London Eye and Buckingham Palace.

We walked from school to Romford Station where we got on the Elizabeth Line to Statford. We then changed platforms and got on the jubilee line. We stayed on this train until we got off on our destination which was Westminster. Our return journey was almost exactly the same except for the fact that we got on the train at Green Park instead of Westmnster. The pupils really enjoyed their day and some of them went on the London Underground for the first time.
