Coopers Coborn School has a proactive group of students who are part of the Youth Travel Ambassadors group for several years. The current YTA team are made up of 18 students from years 7, 8 & 9. They have been very busy this academic year organising 2 fund raising activities Cake Sale & Smoothie Bike raising over £150 for our school travel initiatives. They have held 2 assemblies, one a year 7 assembly where they introduced the YTA group to this new year group to the school, informing them how they can get to and from school using sustainable methods, Bus, train, walk & cycle. They also have recently held a Pedestrian Road Safety assembly to lower school students and staff totalling more than 600 people. They have been to YTA borough event at the Ceme Centre, Dagenham where they discussed with other Havering secondary school students what their sustainable school project was going to be this academic year.
