Situation: The travel ambassadors and I wanted to make the most of Road Safety Week 2023 and to teach the students and parents about the importance of road safety. 

Task: We planned to run a comic strip road safety competition. The children would use their brightest colours and show their understanding of how we can stay safe on the roads by remembering - Be Bright Be Seen (our theme for the week). 

Action: We followed this plan and had hundreds of entries. 

Result: The 3 winners (across the different key stages) were celebrated in assembly. Their comic strips were shown and they got prizes. These prizes were bright acessories for safe travel provided by STA. The winners were celebrated in the newsletter.
